Environmental Biosafety Research (EBR Journal)
An interdisciplinary journal for research pertinent to the biosafety of GMO release in the environment.
Responding to the call for accurate data and information on biosafety: Scientists bear the responsibility of providing society with accurate data and information with which to conduct a vital and rational debate on the merits and weaknesses of the products of genetic modification. The EBR Journal reflects the scientific tradition of reviewing and communicating results in order to allow the scientific community to evaluate and progress. Furthermore the publication serves the needs of today’s society for reliable information in the public debate and decision-making. Together with the symposia, the EBR Journal refutes the often-heard argument that "there is no scientific data on the effects of releasing GMOs into the environment".
The peer-review process for submitted papers ensures that only high quality information is published. While of interest for the scientific debate, ISBR refrains from communicating on pre-mature results that were not obtained in a scientifically justifiable manner.
The EBR Journal is an efficient way to deliver high quality information. The ISBR publishes this peer-reviewed journal through publishing partners EDP sciences. The editorial board is composed of experts in the field and authors have been delighted by the swift handling of manuscripts and the support from the editors. Both reviews and original research papers are accepted for publication. EBR Journal is well established and is often cited by decision-makers.
